Zac-Efron

The Young Hollywood Awards have always been a good predictor of tomorrow's A-list Hollywood stars and rightfully designated Zac Efron (born October 18th, 1987) the "One to Watch" in 2007.  Zac Efron started out with guest roles on television shows such as "ER" and "The Guardian" before playing the role of autistic child, Steven Morgan, in the Lifetime original movie Miracle Run.  The role would garner him a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Movie , Miniseries or Special by a Supporting Actor.  Hollywood began taking notice of Zac Efron's mass appeal after he starred in a 16 episode run on the WB series "Summerland" from 2004-2005.  The Disney channel smartly cast him in the overwhelmingly successful High School Musical (2006) and High School Musical 2 (2007) alongside Vanessa Hudgens, Corbin Bleu and Ashley Tisdale.  Zac Efron's musical talents have led to several hits on the High School Musical Soundtracks including "Breaking Free" (with Vanessa Hudgens), "You Are the Music in Me" (with Vanessa Hudgens and Olesya Rulin) and "Everyday" (with Vanessa Hudgens).  Zac Efron has been on a roll as of late with the success of Hairspray (2007) as has gone on to star in high-profile movies including High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008), 17 Again (2009) and Me and Orson Welles (2009).  Zac Efron will next be seen in the drama The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud (2010) with Kim Basinger.
