Although Wentworth Miller (born June 2nd, 1972) was raised in Brooklyn, New York, he was born in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, England while his father was studying at Oxford University.  Wentworth Miller also attended a top academic institution, graduating from Princeton University with a degree in English Literature.  His first television roles were guest appearances on shows such as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" in 1998 as well as "Popular", "Time of Your Life" and "ER" in 2000.  Wentworth Miller's first starring role came in 2002, playing the role of David in the ABC mini-series, Dinotopia.  In 2003, Wentworth Miller played the younger version of Anthony Hopkin's character Coleman Silk in the romantic drama, The Human Stain, as well as the role of Dr. Adam Lockwood in the Kate Beckinsale starrer, Underworld.  Although he would guest star in the popular television shows "Ghost Whisperer" and "Joan of Arcadia" in 2005, Wentworth Miller's biggest break came when he was cast in the role of Michael Scofield in the Fox TV hit drama "Prison Break" opposite Dominic Purcell.  Fanfare and accolades have followed with the success of the show including a 2005 Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Dramatic Series.  Wentworth Miller will next be seen starring opposite Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter in Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010).
