Pussycat Dolls BIO

Pussycat-Dolls

The Pussycat Dolls began as a modern day burlesque dance troupe back in 1995 by choreographer Robin Antin and later converted into a music group with great success in 2005.  Following in the footsteps of big names such as Carmen Electra and Christina Applegate, the current Pusscat Dolls is comprised of the beautiful and talented Nicole Scherzinger (who was a former member of Eden's Crush from the TV-reality show Popstars), Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Kimberly Wyatt, and Melody Thornton.  In 2005, the Pussycat Dolls released their debut album, PCD, which contained hit singles such as "Sway" from the feature film Shall We Dance, their Grammy Award nominated "Stickwitu", and "I Don't Need a Man".  In addition, the album contained several chart-topping collaborations with many of today's hottest artists such as "Don't Cha" featuring Busta Rhymes, "Beep" featuring will.i.am, "Buttons" featuring Snoop Dogg, and "Wait a Minute" featuring Timbaland.  In 2008, the Pussycat Dolls' popularity soared even further with the release of their sophmore album Doll Domination with mega-hits such as "When I Grow Up", "Whatcha Think About That", "I Hate This Part" and "Bottle Pop".
