Plain White T's BIO

Plain-White-Ts

Plain White T's is a Chicago-based alternative rock band formed back in 1997 that has finally reaped the rewards after several years of growing pains.  The band presently consists of Tom Higgenson (vocals), Dave Tirio (guitar), Mike Retondo (bass and vocals), De'Mar Hamilton (drums), and Tim Lopez (guitar, vocals).  After signing with Atlantic Records in 2000, the band released their debut album Come On Over.  In 2001, the band went through a lineup change and released their second album, Stop, after having signed with a new label Fearless Records.  The band's third album, All That We Needed, was released in 2005 with the singles "Hey There Delilah", "All That We Needed" and "Take Me Away".  Unfortunately, none of their singles would find their way onto any of the music charts.  The Plain White T's would once again change their record label to Hollywood Records and released their fourth album, Every Second Counts.  They would finally chart on Billboard with their first single "Hate (I really Don't Like you)" and re-released the single "Hey There Delilah" to find it reach the number one position in the U.S., Germany and Canada.  In 2008, Plain White T's rewarded their fans with the album Big Bad World with the first released singles off the album being "Natural Disaster" and "1 2 3 4 (I Love You)".
