Every since receiving an Academy Award for his joint screen-writing venture with childhood pal Ben Affleck with Good Will Hunting (1997), Matt Damon (born October 8th, 1970) has gone on to become one of the film industry's best actors.  After first being seen on the big screen in 1988's Mystic Pizza, audiences received a glimpse of of Matt Damon's potential with his performances as the racist prep school student in 1992's School Ties and the heroin-addicted soldier in 1996's Courage Under Fire.  The media fenzy from Good Will Hunting's success would lead to roles in many high-profile movies such as the Steven Spielberg directed Saving Private Ryan (1998) and the Anthony Minghella directed The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999).  Matt Damon's celebrity reached new heights with his involvement in a couple of successful trilogies: He played con-artist Linus Caldwell in Ocean's Eleven (2001), Ocean's Twelve (2004) and Ocean's Thirteen (2007) and wowed audiences with his portrayal of assassin Jason Bourne in The Bourne Identity (2002), The Bourne Supremacy (2004) and The Bourne Ultimatum (2007).  Matt Damon continued to play the most diverse of characters such as the company vice president turned informant "Mark Whitacre" in the comedy The Informant (2009) and South African rugby player "Francois Pienaar" in the Clint Eastwood directed drama Invictus (2009).  Matt Damon's curent projects include the war drama Green Zone (2010) with Amy Ryan, the drama Margaret (2010) with Anna Paquin and the supernatural thriller Hereafter (2010) with Bryce Dallas Howard.
