Keanu Reeves BIO

Keanu Reeves (born September 2nd, 1964) made his big screen debut in the 1986 hockey film Youngblood.  In 1989, Keanu Reeves played the part of Ted Logan in the time-traveling comedy Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and reprised the role of once again in 1991's Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey.  Those films may have placed Keanu Reeves on Hollywood's map, but it would be the box-office success of Point Break (1991) and Dracula (1992) that pathed the way to his A-list status.  Keanu Reeves went on to star in several high-profile projects such as Speed (1994), Johnny Mnemonic (1995) and The Devil's Advocate (1997) before embarking on the The Wachowski Brothers' trilogy of The Matrix (1999), The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions (2003).  Keanu Reeves continues to star in big budget actioners such as Constantine (2005) and Street Kings (2008), but has also found a nice balance with compelling independent films such as Thumbsucker (2005) and A Scanner Darkly (2006).  Keanu Reeves lastest efforts include the science-fiction remake The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008) and The Private Lives of Pippa Lee (2009).
