Jensen Ackles (born March 1st, 1978) originally had the career goal to become a physical therapist, but fortunately he decided to pursue an acting career instead.  After starring as a guest on a few TV shows, he received his first big break playing the role of Eric Brady on the soap opera "Days of Our Lives" from 1997-2000 which garnered him a Soap Opera Digest Award for Best Male Newcomer in 1998 and three consecutive Daytime Emmy Award nominations from 1998 - 2000.  For the next several years, he would have roles in many high-profile TV shows such as in James Cameron's "Dark Angel", playing the brother of Jessica Alba's character Max from 2001-2002, the love interest of Michelle Williams' character Jennifer Lindley on the final season of "Dawson's Creek" from 2002-2003, and the love interest of Kristen Kreuk's character Lana Lang on "Smallville" from 2004 - 2005.  Jensen Ackles now leads the cast of the popular WB series "Supernatural" with his co-star Jared Padalecki.  Jensen Ackles has also ventued out onto the big screen with films such as Devour (2005), Ten Inch Hero (2007) and My Bloody Valentine 3-D (2009).
