Jamie Foxx BIO

Jamie Foxx (born December 13th, 1967) is an award-winning actor, singer, and stand-up comedian.  Many fans took notice of Jamie Foxx when he introduced his uncanny impressions and hilarius characters such as Wanda the Ugly Girl and Carl "The Tooth" Williams as a cast member of "In Living Color" back in 1991.  Jamie Foxx had a successful 97 episode run with his own TV sitcom, The Jamie Foxx Show, and made a smooth transition into more dramatic roles in feature films such as Any Given Sunday (1999) and Ali (2001).  In 2004, Jamie Foxx made an Academy Award and Golden Globe Award winning performance in the movie Ray.  He would also star opposite Tom Cruise in the box-office hit Collateral (2004), fought drug dealers with Colin Farrell in Miami Vice (2006), was Beyonce's ruthless talent manager in Dreamgirls (2006) and played a federal agent in The Kingdom (2007).  Jamie Foxx is also a talented R&B singer and has released the music albums Peep This in 1994 and the Grammy nominated Unpredictable in 2005.
