Hugh Jackman (born October 12th, 1968) worked his early years as in actor in his native Australia starring in the films Paperback Hero and the Erskineville Kings in 1999.  Hugh Jackman's big break came when he was cast as the popular comic book hero Wolverine in 2000's X-Men.  He would later reprise the role in X2: X-Men United (2003), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) and the box office smash X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009).  Hugh Jackman has shown his diversity as an actor by starring in such vastly different movies as Kate & Leopold (2001) with Meg Ryan, Van Helsing (2004) with Kate Beckinsale, The Fountain (2006) with Rachel Weisz and The Prestige (2006) opposite Christian Bale.  Hugh Jackman has also lent his voice for the animated characters of Roddy the mouse in 2006's Flushed Away and Mumble's father in 2006's Happy Feet.  In 2008, Hugh Jackman would star in the thriller Deception with Ewan McGregor and also in the Baz Luhrmann directed Australia opposite fellow Aussie Nicole Kidman.  Hugh Jackman's latest projects include an ensemble Peter Farrelly comedy and X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2, both expected for release sometime in 2011.
