Be sure to look out for Christina Aguilera playing the feature role of "Ali" in the musical film Burlesque, currently slated for a release on November 24th, 2010!!! Burlesque tells the story of a small-town girl, Ali (played by Christina Aguilera), whose big dreams and big voice lead her away from hardship and into a majestic but ailing Los Angeles theater, the Burlesque Lounge. Ali lands a job as a cocktail waitress from Tess (played by Cher), the club’s proprietor and headliner. Before long, Ali builds a friendship with a featured dancer (played by Julianne Hough), finds an enemy in a troubled, jealous performer (played by Kristen Bell), and garners the affection of a bartender and fellow musician (played by Cam Gigandet). With the help of a sharp-witted stage manager (played by Stanley Tucci) and gender-bending host (played by Alan Cumming), Ali makes her way from the bar to the stage.
