Dr. Katherine "Izzie" Stevens was and will hopefully one day return as a surgical resident at Seattle Grace Hospital on the best show ever, Grey's Anatomy. Izzie is known to get too emotionally involved with her patients, and even sometimes to go out of her way to the extent of disregarding rules and protocol to help her patients, notably Denny Duquette.
