Peter Gene Hernandez (born October 8, 1985), better known by his stage name Bruno Mars, is an American singer-songwriter and music producer. Raised in Honolulu, Hawaii by a family of musicians, Mars began making music at a young age. At the Grammy Awards 2011, Bruno appeared in 6 categories, among others, “Best Rap Song, Best Rap / Sung Collaboration”, and “Record Of The Year ‘for’ Nothin ‘On You’,” Record Of The Year “and” Song Of The Year ‘to’ F-k You ‘is sung by Cee-Lo Green, “Best Male Pop Vocal Performance” for Just The Way You Are, “and” Producer Of The Year Non-classical “for the trio of The Smeezingtons.
