Why register with Ave of the Stars?

Our Free Registration gives you access to additional features and personalization options: You will be able to create your own Profile, join existing Celebrity Fan Clubs, start your own Fan Club, participate in our Celebrity Forum, submit User Comments on the movie and music pages, and most importantly, you will become a part of the unique and exciting community of fans on Ave of the Stars.

I just finished the registration process, why am I not logged in?

After finishing the final step in the registration process, you will be automatically redirected to the front page.  All you need to do is re-enter your username and password in the members login section located in the upper right corner.

How do I invite all my friends to join me on

Ave of the Stars?

We have made it really easy for you to get your friends to join our fan community.  On your profile page, select the link titled "invite friends".  You will be able to send out an e-mail invitation with a customized message to as many friends as you like.

User Profile Questions

How do I change my Profile picture?

Select the "Change profile picture" option under the Profile tab on your profile page.  You will be instructed to browse for and upload the image from your computer.

How do I edit my Profile information?

Select the "Edit profile" option under the Profile tab on your profile page.  You will be able to change all your information from the listing of your favorite celebrities to the city/town you live in. 

Can I change my password?

Yes. All you need to do is select the "Edit details" option under the Profile tab on your profile page, type in your new password, verify your password and then save your changes.

How do I change my e-mail address?

Select the "Edit details" option under the Profile tab on your profile page, type in your new e-mail address and then save your changes.

Can I change my privacy settings?

Yes. You are free to edit your privacy settings at any time by selecting the "Privacy" option on your profile page. You will be able to adjust who can view your information and enable/disable system email notifications.

Can I change the number of activities displayed in my profile?

Yes. Select the "Preferences" option under the Profile tab on your profile page, type in the number of activities you want shown and then save your changes .

Can I post images on my Profile Wall?

Images can be posted on your Profile Wall by simply copying and pasting the URL of the hosted image directly onto your Wall section.  Please note that the image must already be hosted by another website or an image hosting website such as imageshack.

Can I post videos on my Profile Wall? 

Videos can be posted on your Profile Wall by simply copying and pasting the URL of the video directly onto your Wall section.  At this time, the only video players supported are from YouTube, DailyMotion, MySpace Video, Yahoo Video, Google Video and MetaCafe.

How do I upload videos to my Profile page?

In order to upload videos to your profile page, select the link titled "Add video", paste the URL of the video where indicated, select a category for the type of video (i.e music video, movie trailer, celebrity interview, etc) and then click "link video". 

How do I create a photo album? 

In order to create a photo album for your profile page, select the link titled "Upload photos", click the link titled "Create one now", title your album, provide a description for your album and then finally click the "create album" button to begin uploading photos from your computer.

Fan Club Questions

How do I join a celebrity fan club?

Joining any of the celebrity fan clubs on Ave of the Stars is as simple as clicking on the button labeled "Join this Fan Club" located in the top right corner of every fan club. 

Can anyone join a celebrity fan club?

If the celebrity fan club was created by Ave of the Stars, then you will be automatically accepted into the fan club if you are already a registered member of Ave of the Stars.  If the celebrity fan club was created by a user, then membership would depend on whether or not the user who created the fan club requires approval for new members to join.

How can I invite my friends to join a celebrity fan club?

We have made it really easy for you to invite your friends to join a celebrity fan club.  At the upper right corner of every celebrity fan club, you will find a "Share this" link that will enable you to send out an e-mail invitation with a customized message to as many friends as you like.

How do you create a celebrity fan club?

In order to create your own celebrity fan club, select the link titled "Start new group" and then follow the instructions to 1) title you fan club, 2) provide a description for your fan club 3) select a category for your fan club (ie. music, movies, celebrity), 4) select the privacy settings for your fan club and 5) upload a photo for your fan club.

Can anyone make a celebrity fan club announcement?

Only the creator / administrator of the celebrity fan club is able to post announcements for the rest of the members.

Can anyone upload photos and videos to a celebrity fan club?

As long as you are a member of that particular celebrity fan club, you are free to create photos albums and upload videos pertaining to that celebrity.
