Daniel Radcliffe BIO
After it was revealed in 2000 that this English born actor was cast as the world's most famous wizard, no one could imagine anyone else playing the role. Although Daniel Radcliffe (born July 23rd, 1989) would make his actual movie debut in The Tailor of Panama with Pierce Brosnan in 2001, it would be his debut later that year as Harry Potter in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone that would forever change his life. He went on to star in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005), Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) as well as the coming-of age drama, December Boys (2007). Further showing his range as an actor, Daniel Radcliffe received rave reviews for his portrayal of a stable boy obsessed with horses in the 2007 stage play Equus. In 2009, Daniel Radcliffe starred in the sixth installment of the J.K. Rowling franchise Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and will finish off the film series with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I (2010) and its conclusion Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II expected in 2011.
