Colin Farrell (born May 31st, 1976) is an Irish born actor who received his first major Hollywood break when he was cast in the Joel Schumacher directed Tigerland in 2000.  He would later land some very high-profile roles including playing Danny Witwer in the Steven Spielberg directed Minority Report (2002), the enigmatic Bullseye in Daredevil (2003), officer Jim Street in the blockbuster movie S.W.A.T. (2003) and Alexander the Great in the Oliver Stone epic Alexander (2004).  Colin Farrell has also shown his range as an actor by taking on more obscure and intimate roles such as playing a bi-sexual character caught in a complicated love-triangle in A Home at the End of the World (2004) and Pocahontas' love interest, John Smith, in theTerrence Malick directed The New World (2005).  In 2006, Colin Farrell teamed up with Jamie Foxx in the Michael Mann directed Miami Vice, playing the coveted role of Sonny Crockett.  Colin Farrell continued to play a wide array of characters amongst a diverse slate of films including the Woody Allen directed Cassandra's Dream (2007), playing a New York police officer in Pride and Glory (2008) and his Golden Globe award performance as a hitman in the thriller In Bruges (2008).  In 2009, Colin Farrell played a photo journalist in the drama Triage (2009), contributed to Heath Ledger's final performance as "Tony" in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (2009) and played a country music star in the critically-acclaimed drama Crazy Heart (2009).  Colin Farrell's current projects include the mermaid fantasy Ondine (2010), the romantic drama London Boulevard (2010) and the period war-drama The Way Back (2010).
