Charlize Theron (born August 7th, 1975) traveled the world as a working model at the tender age of 16, but quit after a year to pursue her passion for dance.  She studied ballet at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York, but her dreams of becoming a professional dancer were crushed when she suffered a major knee injury.  Charlize Theron made the move to Hollywood where her natural beauty captivated audiences in the 1996 movies 2 Days in the Valley and That Thing You Do!  Charlize Theron went on to star in big blockbuster movies such as The Devil's Advocate (1997) with Keanu Reeves, Mighty Joe Young (1998) with Bill Paxton, Reindeer Games (2000) with Ben Affleck, and The Italian Job (2003) with Mark Wahlberg.  Her greatest performance would come with her Academy Award winning portrayal of serial killer Aileen Wuornos in the film Monster (2003).  Since receiving her Oscar, Charlize Theron has made sure to diversify her slate of films such as the futuristic-actioner Aeon Flux (2005) and the Will Smith superhero film Hanock (2008) to heavy dramatic work in films such as In the Valley of Elah (2007) with Tommy Lee Jones, Battle in Seattle (2008) with Channing Tatum and The Burning Plain (2008) with Kim Basinger.  Charlize Theron has a huge slate of upcoming projects including reprising her role as Stella Bridger in The Brazilian Job (2011) with Mark Wahlberg.
