Carrie Underwood (born March 10th, 1983) has gone from being the winner of American Idol's fourth season in 2004 to an award-winning, chart topping pop country music artist.  Some Hearts was her debut album released in 2005 which provided the number one hit singles "Jesus Take the Wheel", "Before He Cheats", "Inside Your Heaven", and "Wasted".  Carrie Underwood was rewarded with Grammy Awards for "Best New Artist" and "Best Female Country Vocal Performance".  "Jesus Take the Wheel" would also garner two Grammy nominations for "Best Country Song" and "Song of the Year."  In 2007, Carrie Underwood released her second album entitled Carnival Ride.  Her sophmore effort has produced the hit singles "So Small", "All-American Girl", "Last Name" and "Just a Dream".  In 2009, Carrie Underwood released her third album Play On with a string of hit singles including "Cowboy Casanova" and "Temporary Home".  It is safe to say that Carrie Underwood has successfully transcended the title of American Idol winner and is simply a super-talented artist conquering the world of country music.
