Britney Spears BIO

Britney Spears (born December 2nd, 1981) is an accomplished Grammy Award winning singer, actress and has had a permanent page in most tabloid publications.  Back in 1993 and 1994, Britney Spears starred alongside Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera in the popular Disney Channel series The New Mickey Mouse Club.  She would later reach mega-stardom with albums such as Baby One More Time (1999), Oops!...I did It Again (2000), Britney (2001), In the Zone (2003), and her latest effort, Blackout (2007).   Britney Spears has had a career to die for with countless singles topping every major chart in the world, year in year out.  Some of her most famous singles include "(You Drive Me) Crazy" (1999), "I'm a Slave 4 U" (2001), "Toxic" (2004), "Everytime" (2004) and the single "Gimme More" (2007) which received a great deal of publicity when she performed it at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards.  Britney's 2007 album, Blackout, contained the two singles "Break The Ice" and "Radar" which easily topped the U.S. Dance charts.   Expectations were even higher for Britney's sixth studio album, Circus, and fans would not be left disappointed with the first released singles "Womanizer" and "Circus".  Britney Spears has also found the time to star in movies such as Crossroads and Austin Powers in Goldmember in 2002 as well as a recurring role in the hit TV show "How I Met Your Mother" in 2008.
