Aishwarya Rai BIO

Aishwarya Rai (born November 1st, 1973) is one of Bollywood's most beautiful Indian actresses with award-winning performances in movies such as Devdas in 2002 and Raincoat in 2004.  This once former student of architecture and rising commercial modeling star won the title of Miss World in 1994.  Later in 1997, Aiswarya Rai proved to the world that she had just as much talent as beauty with her successful movie debut in the movie Iruvar.  Aishwarya Rai continued to impress with her award-winning roles in Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997) and Hum Dil De Chucke Sanam (1999).  In the past, much of Aishwarya Rai's work received very little exposure outside of Bollywood, but things have drastically changed since the world has seen her in the movies Bride & Prejudice (2004) and The Last Legion (2007).  It will only be a matter of time before Aishwarya Rai is a household name throughout the world especially with her high-profile role opposite Steve Martin in Pink Panther 2 (2009).
