50 Cent (born July 6th, 1975) is the stage name of multi-platinum selling rapper Curtis James Jackson III.  After surviving being attacked by a gunman and shot nine times in 2000, 50 Cent recorded the mixtape Guess Who's Back? which got the attention of rapper Eminem.  This led to 50 Cent's mixtape release of No Mercy, No Fear which featured the track "Wanksta".  In 2003, 50 Cent made his highly publicized commercial debut with the album Get Rich or Die Tryin' which included the hit singles "In da club", "21 Questions", and "P.I.M.P."  50 Cent's second commercial album The Massacre was an even larger success with hit singles such as "Disco Inferno" and "Candy Shop".  In 2007, 50 Cent released another chart-topping album Curtis with the single "Ayo Technology" (featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland) as well as "I Get Money".  Fans of 50 Cent did not have to wait too long before the release of his fourth studio album Before I Self Destruct (2009) which contained the hit singles "Ok, You're Right", "Baby By Me" (with Ne-Yo) and "Do You Think About Me".  50 Cent is also taking the movie industry by storm with his role in 2005 semi-autobiographical Get Rich or Die Tryin', 2006's war-drama Home of the Brave with Samuel L.
